According to local authorities, the crash involved two vehicles and happened near the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Road F. The crash caused significant traffic delays during the morning commute, with law enforcement diverting vehicles onto alternate routes. Crews worked quickly to remove debris and assess any damage to the roadway. By 10:45 a.m., authorities confirmed the highway had fully reopened to traffic.
Investigators are continuing to look into the exact cause of the accident. Police have urged drivers to remain cautious, particularly during early morning hours when road surfaces may be slick and visibility can be reduced.
